What is IBAN and Swift provided upon submitting a deposit request?

The IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is an international standard for the identification of account numbers. The SWIFT/BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is an international standard for the identification of banks.

Banks in Europe use IBAN numbers and SWIFT codes, which are the equivalents to account number and sort code. We have many clients, their banks do not all use the IBAN or SWIFT format, but they are still able to send international wires.
