How to install an EA on a Mac

How can I install an EA (or an indicator) on a Mac.


Please note that the 'Expert' folder is located in a system (hidden) folder. Please follow the instructions below:

1. With either the desktop or a Finder window as the frontmost application, hold down the option key and select the Go menu (please see the screenshot).

2. The Library folder will be listed as one of the items in the Go menu. 

3. Select Library and the Finder window will open showing the content of the Library folder (If you close the Library folder's Finder window, the folder will once again be hidden from view.). 

Here’s the path to the folder:
~/Library/Application Support/www.fxchoice.com_151263772824137/drive_c/Program Files/FXChoice MetaTrader 4/MQL4/experts

where 151263772824137 is a unique ID for each installation, your ID will be different.

Please try to follow the above instructions and let us know if it works for you.

If you cannot find the folder <~/Library/Application Support/> please use this script.
