How do I get historical data from MetaTrader?

1)      In MT4, have the desired chart open.

2)      Select the timeframe in the Toolbar.

3)      Ensure the ‘automatic scrolling’ button is disabled .

4)      Press the ‘Home’ button on your keyboard. You will notice the time period jump back. Keep pressing ‘Home’ until you go back far enough to see the desired historical data.
